- Katherine Caroscio Myers,72, of 6486 NC Hwy 62 North, Blanch, NC departed to her heavenly home on Monday, December 5, 2022, after being in declining health for the past several months.
Katherine was born in Elmira, New York, October 31, 1950, daughter of the late Victor Alfred Caroscio and Mary Catherine Lochern Caroscio. She is an undergraduate of Cornell University and a graduate of University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a degree in Child Development. Katherine was employed by Caswell County School System and before being employed by the Person County School System where she worked in Child Development until her retirement. Katherine was of the Catholic faith.
Katherine married Paul Hartwell Myers on April 12,1980, who survives at the residence.
Katherine is also survived by one son, Luke Myers (Caylen) of Blanch, NC, and one daughter, Ellen Myers of Wisconsin, three sisters, Mary Ellen Skipper (Gary), Dorene Snyder (James), Carol Caroscio, two brothers, Victor B. Caroscio (Karen) and Thomas Caroscio (Marie), two grandchildren, Andrew Ryan Myers and Katherine Zoey Tran. She was predeceased by one sister, Ann Carmichael and one brother, James Caroscio.
A Funeral Mass for Katherine will conducted on Friday, December 9, 2022, at 2:00 from Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Danville, VA, by Father Anthony Senyah. The family will receive friends at the church following the Funeral Mass.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Association, P.O. Box 11796, Charlotte, NC 28220, or Friends of the Library, 161 Main Street East, Yanceyville, NC 27279. Wrenn-Yeatts of Yanceyville is respectfully serving the Myers family.
