She apparently outlived her husband, who is referred to as "late of the County of Caswell and State of North Carolina and now deceased" in a deed dated 14 January 1857 whereby the heirs of Durett/Durette Oliver transferred certain Caswell County property to Zachariah Page.

Will of Rucker T. Lea, written 11 June 1838. All estate to brother John Lea who is supposed to be living in Tennessee. Executor: brother Ashley G. Lea. Witnesses: Eleanor Swann, William Long.
Will was contested and opposed by Durrett Oliver and wife and others. Court decreed it was the last will and ordered it recorded. The executor by his attorney John Kerr, Jr, renounced his right to execute. Paul A. Haralson named administrator de bonis non (with the will attached). He was bonded by John C. Totten and Abisha Slade.
