      Will of Daniel Gwyn: Written 29 Apr 1828. Wife Zipporah to have land and house & all property for her life. Zeri Gwyn one dollar, but Zeri's children to have his part. Daughters Jane and Dorothy. Sons Hugh, Daniel, Richard, John and Lyttleton Gwyn. Exec: Son Lyttleton A. Gwyn. Wit: Wm. Graves, Elijah Graves.

      1840-1841: Will Book O, Page 125

      Will of Zera Gwyn: Writen 29 Apr 1840. Wife Temperance Gwyn. Three daughters Elizabeth, Dorothy, and Jane to have land whereon he lives as long as they are single. After marriage all to be sold and divided among lawful heirs. Wit: Jas E. Williamson, L. A. Gwynn. Codicil 2 July 1840 - Daughter Jane to have $300 more than others after death of wife. Exec: son Rice Gwynn. Exec qualified.

      Will of Littleton A. Gwynn: When written unknown. Wife Permelia A. Gwynn to have dower land for life on main road above the factory house adj Mr. Walker, A. Miles Esq., A. Wallis, and Temperance Gwynn. House and lot in Yanceyville to be sold. $1000 to children of Zeri Gwynn decd; $1000 to sister Jane Boyd or to her children; $1000 to children of Daniel Gwynn decd; $1000 to Hugh Gwynn for his life then to go to L. A. Gwyn son of Augustine. Bible and books to Robert L. son of R. B. Watt and a colt named Swep. Residue to Richard Gwynn and John Gwynn. Exec: Richard Gwynn and John Gwynn. Proved on oath of Samuel Moore. John Gwynn renounced his right to execute and Richard Gwynn qualified. Thomas W. Graves, Clk.

      1862-1863: Will Book S, Page 579

      Will of Richard Gwynn: Written 21 Sept 1862. Friend Thomas Bigelow loaned negroes for his life for him to control and receive fenefits. At Bigelow"s death, slaves to be sold in families and to pick their masters if exec agrees. If sold, 1/5 proceeds to brother Hugh Gwynn for his life and remainder to heirs living at time of testator's death of Zera Gwynn, Daniel Gwynn, John Gwynn, and David Boyd. Servant Charlotte to have furniture. Remainder of estate sold and same divided as above. Exec to put tombstones up for Mother and Father and enclose graveyard with stone or iron railing. Part of estate for Augustus Gwynn held in trust and not to be used to pay his debts; same for that intended for Pinkney Gwynn. Exec: G. J. Farish, Rice Gwynn. Wit: A. Gunn, Bedford Brown.
