Notes |
- Harry Thomas Dagwell (1840-1912)
1841 also shown as birth date. c 1844 also shown as birth date. Went to London, then to the USA (see Canadian Dagwells). Had 1865 as his death year; but that would make no sense given the birth dates of his children. Death date also seen as March 1912.
Family Notes: There were eleven children. Three were born in England. One was born in Canada. Seven were born in either Canada or Michigan. This was one of the first white families in Indian River, Michigan. They went from England in or about 1871, first to New York, then to Canada, then to Michigan.
The 1910 US Census shows Harry T. Dagwell (born 1841 England) married to Anna J. (born 1869 Canada). They had been married for 11 years, which puts the marriage year around 1899. She indicates that she has had two children, with only one currently alive. Included in the household are William F. Dagwell (shown as son of Harry T. Dagwell and born 1872, widowed, with an 11-year-old child, Myrtis M. (shown as a grand daughter of Harry T. Dagwell). Thus, it appears that Anna J. was the second wife of Harry T. Dagwell.
