Notes |
- I am doing research on the lineage of Allen C Campbell for the UDC. He is the son of Banister and Rhody Pinson. Allen Campbell had a daughter with Manerva Browning named Delilah (dillie) Campbell. Dillie married John Dolphin Smith. They had a son named Lester Hassel Jones Smith. Lester married Mattie Belle Mckinney. They had a son named Johhnie Hubert Smith. Johnnie married Mary Mildred Diamont and they had a son, Hubert Douglas Smith. Doug married Alesia Gail Rice and my sister and I were born. What I am looking for is a possible campbell descendent to get some more information (proof of dates) from. Any help would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!

_______________
Dillie F. Campbell is living with her second husband, Thomas Rudd, in the 1910 census. She is listed as Frances D. Rudd. 1910 U.S. Census, Caswell County, North Carolina, p. 16B. The household also lists six year old Henry C. as the son of Thomas Rudd. Henry C. appears to be the child of Thomas Rudd and Dillie Campbell, since he was born two years after their marriage.
