- Sidney Alex Kimbro (1889-1967)
Soon after the Civil War tradition says, supported by the late Walter Allred, that there was a small one room log school located at Bush Arbor and was taught by John H. Simpson. Later the one room building was moved across the road and was part of the kitchen to Sidney Alex Kimbro's (1889-1967) home. His house was demolished about 1970.
