    • In 1947, Braziel B. Flowers apparently owned a Blackwood Store in Yanceyville, Caswell County, North Carolina, with Taylor Montgomery Snead. The News and Observer (Raleigh, North Carolina), 9 April 1947.

      He moved to Yanceyville in 1941 to assume the position of Superintendent of Public Welfare for Caswell County, NC. Flowers moved from Asheville where he had been regional director of the WPA. The Herald-Sun (Durham, North Carolina), 29 Aug 1941. His office probably was on the second floor of the Bank of Yanceyville.
