J F White Died - The Bee (Danville, Virginia) 8 August 1933 page 10: J. F. White, prominent farmer of the Locust Hill township near Yanceyville, died at his home at three o'clock Friday afternoon after an illness of only a few hours. He was 51 years of age. Funeral services were held at four o'clock Saturday afternoon at Locust Hill Methodist Church by Rev. L. T. Poole. Mr. White is survived by his wife and five children, as follows: John White, Herbert White, James White, and Misses Virginia and Dorothy White.
