      Mrs. Annie Mae Brown Gunn 87, of Mebane, NC entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving and devoted family. Annie Mae was the daughter of Clifton Eulius Brown Sr. and Mary Bell Sellars Brown. She was born on November 27, 1934 in Caswell County.

      She was married to John Henry Gunn and from this union were born three children. She dedicated her life to her family by creating a loving and peaceful environment. She enjoyed cooking, cleaning and working in her garden. She also worked as a seamstress. She was a faithful member of Corbett Memorial Church where she used her God given talent as a member of choir and ministered to others as a mother of the church.

      Annie Mae is survived by her sons, John O Gunn (Lucy), Melvin Gunn (Valerie); brother, Clifton Brown; sisters, Katherine Brown Stadler, Gloria Jean Brown Stadler (Alvis), Ruth Brown; four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

      She was preceded in death by her husband John Henry Gunn; son, Larry Gunn; sisters Lucille Watlington, Sylvia Brown, Margie Rollins; brothers, Charlie Brown and Elijah Brown.
