Gilbert Carlton Chandler, youngest child of Clyde T. and Linnie (Myers) Chandler, married Ruby Lea Shelton July 11, 1947. She was born October 2, 1925, and they had the following children: William Carlton Chandler, born October 13, 1957; and Susanne Chandler, born August 6, 1964.
Known by the family as "Aunt Lou" [Louisa Page] she lived in her later life in a cabin where Clyde and Lennie Chandler moved after their marriage. Gilbert Carlton Chandler was born in that cabin. It was torn down and Thomas Yancey Chandler built his house on the site.
