    • Rosa Brandon Walker died Saturday, September 15, 2012 at the Bryan Center in Yanceyville, NC. She was born on August 27, 1929 in Danville, VA to the late Otis Brandon and Blanche Snow Brandon. She was married to the late James E. Walker, III. Mrs. Walker had worked at Hanover Mills and was a former member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, James Walker, IV of Danville, and Don Walker of Blanch, NC; one sister Mary L. Brandon of Milton, NC; three grandchildren, Christy Walker Clay of Blanch, NC, Larry D. Walker of FL, and Jamie Walker of Danville; and two great-grandchildren, Bryan Walker and Alexis Clay.

      Graveside funeral services will be held on Monday, September, 17, 2012 at 2:00 PM at New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Austin Merricks officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 16, 2012 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at the son, Don Walker's residence, 7102 Hwy 62 N , Blanch NC. At other times the family will also be at the son, James Walker's residence, 893 Luna Lake Rd., Danville.
