  Possible, but unconfirmed, is that this Katherine Jones (Kate) Thompson was the daughter of Margaret Thompson. Her sister would have been Jessie L. Thompson Wilkerson. Source: 1900 US Census (Leasburg, North Carolina), which shows Kate Bradsher widow, born September 1842 (North Carolina), and having two children, both of whom were alive at the time of the census (1 June 1900).
