      _______________

Adolphous Levi Page (1856-1931) is the son of Levi Cobb Page (c.1801 - aft. 1870) and Miranda Vernon Page (c.1814 - aft. 1880). Adolphous Levi Page (or “Dolf” as he was known), married Martha Frances Chandler (1858-1887), the oldest daughter of George W. Chandler (1832-1883) and Elizabeth Boswell Chandler (1832-1909). Martha Frances Chandler Page is known as “Fannie,” and that name is found on her grave marker in the Chandler Family Cemetery (Vernon Road, Caswell County, North Carolina) (farm owned by Ivey Andrew Chandler). Adolphous Levi Page and Martha Frances (Fannie) Chandler Page had one son, George Levi Page (1886-1978) (purportedly named for his maternal grandfather, George W. Chandler). Martha Frances (Fannie) Chandler Page died fifteen months after the birth of her son, and she is buried with her family in the Chandler Family Cemetery (Vernon Road, Caswell County, North Carolina).

According to his own accounts, George Levi Page (known as Leve, with the "i" in Levi being pronounced as a long "e") was raised on the Page farm on the County Home Road (Caswell County, North Carolina), then on the Montgomery Road (Caswell County, North Carolina), by his father Adolphous Levi Page and his unmarried Aunt Margaret (Mag) Page (called “Momma” by George Levi Page as she was the only mother he knew). Adolphous Levi Page is buried beside his sisters Margaret Page and Louisa Page in the Page family cemetery in Caswell County, North Carolina.

Levi Cobb Page is the son of William Page, Jr. William Page, Jr., purchased his Caswell County, North Carolina, farm from John Scott in 1815. The original deed remains in the Chandler family. William Page, Jr., left the farm to his children, who subsequently (c. 1842), deeded the land to sibling Levi Cobb Page, but requiring Levi Cobb Page to provide a home for his two unmarried twin sisters (Martha Page and Louisa Page). The original of this deed also remains in the Chandler family.

The twin sisters of Levi Cobb Page Mary Page and Martha Page) were born in 1816. Mary Page married George W. Manly. George W. Manly and Mary Page Manly had several children. One child, Rosa Catherine Manly married Hartwell Carr Myers. Their oldest son, George Myers married Minnie Lanier Chandler, daughter of Thomas Yancey Chandler and Sally Bohannon (the source of all the red hair in the Myers family). The other sister of Levi Cobb Page, Martha Page, never married.
