Kate Stanfield's obituary stated that her grandsons served as pall bearers: Hambrick Harris; Sanford Long; Jerry Stanfield; Bedford Stanfield; Ransome Frederick; and Elbert Stanfield. Thus, it appears that Hambrick was the son of Valeria Stanfield and George Harris.
John Hambrick Harris, July 15, 1908 -- August 4, 1963, member first football team Roxboro High School, veteran World War II, U.S. Army, owned and lived on great granfather "Fox" homeplace. Buried in Burchwood Cemetery, Roxboro, North Carolina.
