Miss Mollie Walters Died This Morning
Miss Mollie B. Walters, aged 65, died at 5:30 a. m. today at Edmunds hospital, where she had been a patient for several months as a result of severe injuries she sustained from a heavy fall several years ago. She was a daughter of W. F. Walters and a granddaughter of Capt. A. G. Walters. For many years she had made her home at "Cottage Grove" the old Walters' home place near this city. She was a cousin of C. G. Holland, Frank Holland, Miss Nellie Holland, Mrs. Julian M. Robinson and C. Maurice Flinn.
Here gravestone shows 1921 as the death year.

Property divided as follows:
To his wife Martha M Walters was given the homeplace containing about 400 acres (Present day Grove Park located in Danville Va) and his Mill Seat [Site?] and 80 acres located on Hogans Creek in Caswell Co., NC for her lifetime only. At her death the homeplace was to be held jointly by his son William F and his granddaughter Mollie Belle. The Mill Seat and 80 acres was to go to son Archibald E. who in turn was to convey the mill and acreage to his grandson Azariah Graves, Jr.
To his son William F. was given two houses with small parcels of land attached near the far front gate on his homeplace.
To his granddaughter Mollie Belle was given a house and a small parcel of land attached near the far front gate of his homeplace. Described as having 3 rooms and being painted.
To his daughter Mary Catherine Holland and son-in-law C. G. Holland was given 206 acres lying in Caswell Co., NC along the Dan River known as the "Knight Place."
To his son Robert A. was given the lower part of his "Broadnax Place" containing 400 acres or more with 170 acres lying in Caswell Co., NC and the remainder lying in Pittsylvania Co. VA.
To his son Archibald E. was given the middle tract of the "Broadnax Place" lying on the Dan River in Pittsylvania Co., Va containing 500 acres which had upon it the old Broadnax house.
To his daughter Bettie Walters Flinn was given the upper part of the "Broadnax Place" containing 500 acres lying on the Dan River in Pittsylvania Co., Va. joined on the lower side by the land given to his son Archie and on the upper side by land belonging to James A. Stone and his sister Mrs. Stokes. There was a lien (in favor of Stone) on this piece of property for $1600 which he hoped to pay off before his death.

Special Commissioner's Sale of Real Estate: Pursuant to a decree entered in the Corporation Court of Danville, on April 8, 1941, in the chancery cause therein pending of C. M. Flinn against Mollie B. Walters' Adm'r., et als, the undersigned will offer for sale on the premises. Thursday, April 24th, 1941 the following real estate:
(1) at 3:00 o'Clock P. M. -- A certain lot of land with improvements, fronting 50 feet on Franklin Street in Danville, Virginia, with a depth between parallel lines of 130 feet, it being real estate of which Mollie B. Walters died seized and possessed,
(2) at 3:30 o'Clock P. M. -- Three lots, one of which has improvements, each fronting 60 feet on the south side of Broadnax Street, near Almagro, Danville, Virginia, with a depth between parallel lines of 100 feet, and designated as lots 1, 2, and 3 on a map of the Mollie B. Walters Estate, made by H. S. Peirce, March 6, 1941 and filed with the papers in the above mentioned chancery suit.
