In the above photograph the building to the left was the original service station and sandwich shop operated by Jeter Arnold Fuqua (1892-1971). However, the building may have been owned by John Abner Massey (1881-1956).

Graves-Covington House (see photograph)
House stood (and may still stand) on Highway 86 about six miles southeast of Yanceyville (in what now is Leasburg Township). Once owned by Arnold Jeter Fuqua and wife Flora Ilene Lindley Fuqua. Jeter Fuqua once owned and operated the business that later became better known as "Alvis Briggs BBQ." However, the building may have been rented from John Abner Massey.
The rear section of the house was built by Lewis Graves around 1818.
