- William Robert Crumpton (1887-1933)
Ruth Floyd Harris (July 14, 1895 -- August 10, 1977), attended Blackstone College, Virginia, married William Robert (Will) Crumpton (September 12, 1887 -- January 27, 1933), farmer, both buried in Mt. Zion Methodist Church Cemetery. They had five children: William Robert (Bill) Crumpton, Jr., (January 15, 1915 -- May 12, 1974), tobacconist, married Virginia Garrett, had six children: Ruth, Malcolm, Bob, Rebecca, Garrett, and Dianna.
Valeria Marion Crumpton (November 21, 1916), graduate of Hurdle Mills High School, married Thomas (Tom) Monk (August 7, 1914), buried Mt. Zion Church, May 28, 1980, farmer, Chairman A.S.C.S. Person County, had two children: Charles, farmer, Tommy (C.P.A.), married Carolyn Frederick, two children: Christie, Tammy.
George Edward Crumpton (May 15, 1918 -- August 18, 1962), tobacconist; three children, Brooks, Steve and Harris, married Polly Crigger, veteran World War II.
Rose Alice Crumpton (born February 22, 1920), married Bernard Gregory, dry cleaning firm, had one child, Pam.
Elaine Harris Crumpton (August 26, 1923 -- January 26, 1970), born on great grandfather Harris's birthday, buried in Mt. Zion Church Cemetery.
