- John "Jack" Siddle (1810-1886)
John "Jack" Siddle, 8/1810 -- 3/12/1886, was a wheelwright and a farmer. My research has not revealed his parents or his siblings. Family tradition says that he had a brother, Dr. Charles Grandison Siddle, 1812-1883, and a sister, Mary "Polly" Siddle, 7/4/1814 -- 10/25/1883, who was the second wife of Antiochus Boswell, 9/3/1813 -- 6/16/1885, and was m. 11/8/1836.
John Siddle married Malinda Miles on 7 July 1834. She was born 1813 and died 26 February 1899 and was from Rockingham County, North Carolina. They lived near Bethesda Presbyterian Church and were buried there after producing eight children.
