Blanch, NC-Mrs. Bonnie Myers Marion of 2996 Culver Road, Blanch, NC died Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at her residence, following a decline in health.
Mrs. Marion was born December 19, 1944 in Sodus, N.Y., the daughter of the late Lonnie Coleman Myers and Lylia Bohling Myers.
Mrs. Marion was employed 21 years with Kan River Mills, Inc. She was a member of Community Baptist Church.
Mrs. Marion was predeceased by her husband, Richard Marion. She is survived by three daughters, Sandra Marion Tickle of Blanch, NC, Connie Marion Lawson of Hawaii, and Marie Marion Dalton of Ringgold, Virginia; one son, Robert Marion of Brosville, Virginia: Two sisters, Ruby Baines and Joyce Watson of Alabama; three brothers, Lonnie Myers of Asheville, NC, Richard Myers of Providence, NC, and Bradly Myers of Louisiana, and eight grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, October 14, 2006, at 2;;00 pm at community Baptist Church with Reverend Mark Smith officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 8:30 pm Friday, October 13, 2006 at Community Baptist Church, NC Old Hwy. 86 North, Yanceyville, NC.
Marley Funeral Home, Yanceyville, NC is in charge of arrangements.
